Elect Chair, Co- Chair, Secretary – Ms. Stacy
Motion to elect Christine Phillips as SCC chair – Annalisa Spencer. Seconded by Natalie Bletzacker. All in
favor.
Motion to elect Natalie Bletzacker as SCC co-chair – Briana Williams. Seconded by Christine Philips. All in
favor.
Annalisa Spencer volunteered to take minutes as secretary.
• Introductions of the council and present new members Briana Williams and Natalie Bletzacker.
• Reviewed Roberts Rules of Order on the Butler Elementary website. Pointed members to bylaws,
agendas and minutes, also located on the Butler Elementary website (butler.canyonsdistrict.org).
Reviewed some bylaws, including our quorum size (9) and voting. We have room for one more
member.
• Reminded members of upcoming SCC training at the district on Wednesday, September 18th
.
• We will keep our SCC meetings on the second Wednesday each month at 7:30 AM. Our
upcoming meetings will be: October 9, November 13, January 8, February 12, March 12, April 16
(and May 14 only if necessary).
• Ms. Stacy will post our SCC roster on the website.
• Data review – we reviewed last year’s goals. None were met. Will be updating our goals for this
year in future meetings. This year we will make goals based on growth, not proficiency.
• Brief discussion on White Ribbon Week. Annalisa brought materials from WhiteRibbonWeek.org
that we can pass around and review. Ms. Stacy to look at them first.Motion to adjourn – Aubrey Doyle. Seconded by Annalisa Spencer.
Next meeting will be October 9th, 2024 at 7:30 AM at Butler Elementary conference room and via zoom.
