Welcome – Christy, introductions
Motion to approve minutes from October – Aubrey Doyle. Seconded by Christy Phillips.

Ms. Stacy – review budget. We’re at 20% spending for the year. In February we will review plan for next year, and decide where we would make changes.

Discussion on teacher data days and PLC planning. Discussion on EAA analysis in PLCs.

Resume safety plan discussion from last month:

-We have submitted our safe routes plan.
-Completed digital citizenship plan.
-Required to do a drill once a month. Use the crisis go app. Maybe put a “we love you guys” card on the substitute lanyards?
-Looking for a full time employee to volunteer to carry during the school day (school guardian). Most schools in the state have not filled this position yet. We have til the end of December. -Discussion back to drills. Do we run reunification drills? No. Our site is currently Butler Middle and Brighton. Don’t currently have an MOU with the church across the street. Would like to open up the possibility of running a reunification drill.
-Are our front windows bullet proof? No. It’s an issue of money.
-How can we make sure we are in compliance with state law about a school guardian? -Discussion on bullying protocol. Thrive time. School psychologist and behavior support aid.
-Do we have a plan for election fallout and verbal bullying? Student council is putting on an anti-bullying assembly. Thrive Time has lessons in problem solving.
-Our focus is going to be conflict at recess and resilience. Peaceful coexistence of diversity of thought.
-Questions about how disbanding the DOE would affect our school? Not sure.
-We like all the district school safety information but would love a document where it’s all written down. Found it on the website. Yes, we found the website helpful.

Motion to adjourn this meeting – Annalisa Spencer. Seconded by Abby Bacon. Next meeting January 7, 2025 at 7:30 AM, Butler Elementary School.
